I had help from a band of astral entities. We wanted this album to have a "live band " feel; the feeling as if we each had our own specific instrument and were playing live as a unit; as some parts are recorded in real time without edit . Our lineup is 2 keyboardists, a tabla player, a bass player, a drummer and a collection of spoken word artists. The theme throughout this release; in the snowy, textured, arpeggiated synths, is one of nostalgia and really reminds me of a couple of villages/towns I visit in my dreams. They are pretty frequent and I have been going to what seems like one astral village for years. Sometimes it snows and is very colorful when it does. The cover evokes that feeling the original is of mycelium "rooting system" with hue saturation and color contrast manipulation.
This album is free, but donations are accepted Thanks for the support All donations will go towards the making of music, the planting of trees on the Bone and Stone land.As well as hives for bees and other permaculture related forms of work Bone and Stone is the media collective of Alluvium Forms and his wife as well as his collective art society featuring many spoken word artists and visual artists; all of whom are close friends of Forms.
